Catholic Identity Statement

The school is a Catholic School, approved by the Local Ordinary (Canon 803). This means that the Catholic School provides authentic Catholic teaching and opportunities for community worship and participation in the sacraments. The Catholic School also promotes evangelization and service to the community.

This section presents an outline of the general curriculum offered for students in their grade level in our diocesan schools. Each school covers the basics listed. Some enhance the curriculum according to parent participation, facility and monies available.

Each school's goal is to develop the following abilities in each subject area:
  • Higher thinking (analyze, evaluate, classify, predict, decide, etc.)
  • Communication (present, persuade, collaborate, explain, etc.)
  • Goal setting/attainment (brainstorm, envision, research, plan, etc.)
  • Quality process (plan, draft, analyze, revise when producing)
