My name is Kim Tibbetts and I am in my 15th year here at Sacred Heart Academy. Currently I am the Head Kindergarten Teacher and girls volleyball coach for grades 5th-8th grades. I am originally from Knoxville, TN, were I coached the Tennessee Volunteers Volleyball team. I married a Cal. St. criminology professor and moved to California. I love teaching the younger students who are just beginning their academic careers. I am blessed to have a full-time assistant, Ms. Tucker, who has been with me for 13 years. I have a beautiful volleyball playing daughter named Rian who will be in 8th grade this year. My cool dog is an Austrailian Shepherd named Sinjin. Best trail running buddy ever! I reside in Angelus Oaks and love my mountain home! I just won my first race called " Endure the Bear". Go Sacred Heart Angels!
Math workbooks
Today the in class Math book is coming home. Several pages are not done due to the fact we pushed extra hard each day to complete the Superkids program. Review and work through the workbook this summer for a great review in preparation for 1st grade.

I know there are several pages that are not complete in this Go Math workbook. Please consider this workbook a summer review assignment before 1st grade. Review and work through it this summer so your child's skills will remain sharp!

Kindergarten Note
This week on Thursday the 8th your child will read their speech in church for their 8th grade buddy. Please assist your child at home this week in reading their speech. In addition, Thursday will be 8th grades last day before they graduate on Friday the 9th. If you wish to give a graduation present to them it will be the last day unless you are planning on attending the graduation. Homework for the next 2 weeks will be to complete the Superkids workbooks and the Go Math workbooks. Have a wonderful week!
Kindergarten Program date change
Due to certain circumstances our K. program has to be changed to June 13th at 5:30 pm. Hope this works for all. Today your child was assigned a Superkid character to dress up as for the program. Check with our student and pics are available to look at in K. Thank You!
