Course Description
This course is designed as an introduction to Spanish. Students gain appreciation and understanding of the language by Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Students will not only learn grammar and vocabulary, but the history, geography and culture of Spanish-speaking countries. The goal of the Spanish class is to prepare students for high school Spanish and to help them become global thinkers. At the completion of eight grade, students will have obtained the knowledge equivalent to high school Spanish I.
