Parent Letter Faith Reflection

Parent letter faith reflection

Raise your hand if you are enjoying Mr. Turner’s Frankie & Rocko REACT! Videos. Great. Now raise your hand if this quarantining still has you worried about your job, how will share the wifi so everyone can get to their zoom meetings, if your various supplies will last until the stores are restocked, and the like. For those of us who raised our hands to the second question I hope you also raised your hand for the first. We all need ways to de-stress throughout the day and Mr. Turner’s series fits the bill in a wonderful and prayerful way.

There are a myriad of things to help when we need stop, take a moment to breathe and let our Lord fill us with something other than the things we are worried about. On Tuesday, when I was in need of another moment of something calming, along came a post from Holy Name’s Youth Ministry on Instagram. If you haven’t already listened to Mat Troy’s reflection and song I encourage you to do so. As he says, he came across a reflection that he wanted to share because he thought it was relevant to what we all are going through at this time; I have to agree with him. https://www.instagram.com/holynameym/  May it bring you a little peace and joy also.

Bishop Essay

 by Faith

It was good to have Bishop Barnes as our bishop. I wish he could have come to our school more often. Maybe he can tell our new bishop that we will welcome him to our school.

Cinema for the Soul will have their next zoom meeting on Thursday, 28 May 2020 at 7pm. Just like last month you need to watch the movie before the meeting. The Road to Knock is on offer this month and is available to watch for free on Formed. If you don’t already have an account go to formed.org to create one.

God bless,
