Parent Letter Faith Reflection

Bethlehem was God with us, Calvary was God for us, and Pentecost is God in us

- Robert Baer, author

No matter all the twists and turns life has taken us these past months this quote so tellingly sums up how we as Christians see and relate to God even still. A pandemic, protests, and a whole host of seemingly endless worries and concern this latter part of the school year has put us collectively through the wringer, but we have made it to the end of the school year. It took courage, love, grace, and grit and determination, but we have made it—we have made it because we have remained a faith-filled community who knows God is with us, for us, and in us.

As we go on summer break, enjoy a well-earned rest, time with family and friends, and the simply things like having your dining room table back or replanting a tree that has been living life sideways along with the rest of us these past 3 months (I hope to get to that tree next week).  May our Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph watch over you and bless you and your families with a restful and joy-filled summer.
