Principal's Letter Faith Reflection

Lenten practices like stricter food fasts, hanging a large cloth to cover the altar, wearing black or simple clothing, and suspension of public entertainment are no longer part of Lent but focusing on Jesus’ passion is something we still do today. We continue with the next stanza of the Christ III doom poem:  Now see these mortal wounds that you inflicted before into my hands and my feet just the same, through them I hung, severely fastened—you can see here, manifest to this day, in my side this bloody wound. How there was an uneven account made between us there! I took on your agony so that you would be allowed to enjoy my native realm, blessed and prosperous. And in my death I dearly purchased you enduring life so that you would be allowed to abide afterwards, free from blemish, and beautiful in that light...

Showcasing SHA talent: This is not Lent in medieval times so we can go to Disneyland, like Priscilla in 6th.

God bless,
