Welcome to 3rd grade!!! I have been teaching 3rd grade at Sacred Heart Academy since 2005. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino in 2002 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a minor in music and I earned my teaching credential from the University of Redlands.  I have been a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus since 1978.  My husband, Roger, and I were married here.  My son attended Sacred Heart Academy from kindergarten through eighth grade!   So, needless to say, my family is very committed to this parish and school.  I truly enjoy teaching 3rd grade and try to make learning fun, engaging, and relevant.

To bring to class tomorrow

If you haven't done so already, please send the signed copy of your student's progress report with your student tomorrow. Thank you.

For my math class, if your student hasn't brought their ear buds to school, please send it with them tomorrow.  We will be starting to use them with the Think Central site during class.  Inexpensive, dollar store ear buds are all that are necessary.  Thank you!

Think Central and Ear Buds

Many families had difficulties throughout the week with the Think Central website.  I'm sorry for any inconvenience and frustration that may have caused. I've decided to use any online activities will be done during class time.  The website is still available to you as a resource for you and your student.

I am asking that each student bring in a set of ear buds to use for these on line activities.  I will store them in individual containers here in the classroom.  Ear buds can be purchased at any dollar store.  Please don't spend a lot of money on the ear buds.  Please have these ear buds to class by Thursday.  If your student has already brought in their earbuds, thank you.

If if you have any questions about any of this, please contact me. Thank you!

If possible, please have your student bring a can/box food item to donate.  Also, if possible, if your student can donate toiletry items for the victims of the Blue Cut Fire, those items need to be in by Friday.
