okay today in 4th grade leap we're using bar models to solve problems okay so you can go ahead and read the problem Maria's dog weighs six times as much as a rabbit together the petsway 56 lb what does Maria and then what does it say down below what what are you going to do Drive model let end represent the unknown so go ahead and walk us through how you're going to solve this between the dog and the rabbit  so I am going to write down here and then rabbit here can I ask why you knew dog went with the bar that's bigger so it says that Maria stock we six times as much as the rabbit so we know that it can a rabbit in the rabbit and since away six times it's it's heavier than the round so the Rabbit Goes On The okay good so then what else are you going to plug in here what other information  so I know have fun together with 56 lb from going to put 56 in there but I do not know what with the rapper ways or the dogs time in all the boxes to represent the unknown so then down below you know that let animals unknown you already said that so then I thought 7 times n equals 56 where did you get that seven from  from find the bar so 1 2 3 4 5 6 and then the rabbits that makes seven seven okay and then are you doing going to do this or you doing the office of the multiplication division how did you solve it  what did you go 7 times what equals 56 yeah you did okay how much does the rabbit weigh all by itself it sounds good job good job
