5th grader Audrey explains how we use a mathematical formula to obtain points for our tournament teams. You are awesome Audrey! Current standings: Sophia (4th) 239, Victoria (6th) 201, and Quintin (4th) 200

it is writing in fifth grade lead and we are working on our March Madness basketball project and Audrey is going to complain how the students go about getting points for their teams okay Audrey what if you have a team that wins a game so what you do is if it's like  what the number team and then it's they win against the  8th Place team so what you do is you do winning team minus the losing team and you in this case you get -7 answer and then you add 16 and that would be 39 the original way back when Audrey you pick 10 teams how's the tournament using the bracket can you show us the bracket that you have so far formula to Audrey just explain the winning team's seating - the losing team seating + 16 that's the formula we use to so can you show us Audrey today and did you get any points for any of your team's yes I got here that's how you figure out the points for that so for Xavier they have a they have there and 11th place and it was against Anna and it unfortunately I had. It was 11 MI to okay because Xavier was a seated 11 and 4 with seated two Arizona sorry my bad for that oh wow so you got a lot of points but not on right okay so then on this you're keeping track of your points if they lose that if they lose one then you usually do a zero but sometimes you out okay okay okay and so I already put 25 down for round 3 and and what my total right now is 121
