Brady and Quintin show us how to compare fractions with unlike denominators. Brady is using fraction strips and Quintin is solving by finding a common denominator. Awesome work boys!

okay it's Monday we're back from Easter break and in 4th grade we are comparing fractions where the denominators are not the so there's two methods Brady is going to show us how to compare two fractions using fraction strips so we're comparing 1/2 to chance an inequality sign showing greater than or less than  should I play sound half in 7:10 and do this to me obviously one happens 7:10 purple ones right and make sure it's lined up perfectly okay with the half so like just in case of you Meza so you can see that seven tens is bigger than 1 because it's a bigger his more bigger with two hats when is going to show us do you have to find a common denominator for both of these set for both  and 2 can go into 10  and 10 can go into itself we already found the common denominator which is 10 goes into 10 five times to put that right there 1 * 5 is 5 to put that right there and Zack and 10 goes into 10 once she put that right there in end times one right there so what do I do now now that you got these number I have a common denominator since since smaller than 5 greater than
