3rd Graders took a little tropical vacation today by playing Island Hop. Students used "islands" and number lines to practice rounding/estimation. Great Job!

okay we're in third grade today we're outside doing an activity what are we doing today no  good job Morgan what are we practicing when we're playing this game rounding an estimated job good Alexandra what island are you on  fifty50 good job way down there Lauren are you on leave step 3 spots to the right oh okay okay so Alex you are 50 what number are you on now  47 good job and Lauren you were on 20 what number are you on now is it 16  you're supposed to be three times sweetie not 4 times now what number you on seven to go good job okay please and Noah couldn't go anywhere cuz he was on one so he had to stay there he'd be in the negative numbers please talk to your closest island  good so Alex you have 250 didn't you good job okay let's do some more working please move to your left own O'Connor can't move to his laptop please move to your left fixed spots good Noah what number are you on now right what number are you on 86 good job interview couldn't move cuz you were on a hundred you on the last Island okay wherever you are cop to EUR closest island good  how did you know that baby cry baby 6 to the nearest ten it's 90 cuz anything 5 is from  excellent you go up right good job couldn't have said it better myself good job can you guys wave and say bye to Mom and Dad  happy island hopping
