Welcome to 3rd grade!!! I have been teaching 3rd grade at Sacred Heart Academy since 2005. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino in 2002 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a minor in music and I earned my teaching credential from the University of Redlands.  I have been a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus since 1978.  My husband, Roger, and I were married here.  My son attended Sacred Heart Academy from kindergarten through eighth grade!   So, needless to say, my family is very committed to this parish and school.  I truly enjoy teaching 3rd grade and try to make learning fun, engaging, and relevant.

The BFG Permission Slip

Your student came home today with a permission slip to watch the movie The BFG.  The permission slip is required because the movie is rated PG.  We are going to watch it on Friday afternoon.  Thank you!

Santa's Secret Workshop

Our class will be visiting Santa's Workshop tomorrow.  Students will have the opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts for their immediate family.  Please send your student with a shopping bag to bring their items home.  Also, please give your student small bills ($1 and $5) as it is sometimes difficult for the volunteers to make change for a $20 bill.  Thank you so much!

First Communion Date

Please ask your student for a RED paper that was given out today.  It has information regarding the First Communion Mass date.  This is a time sensitive note and it needs to returned to me within two weeks .  Please let me know if you  have any questions.

Welcome to Analucia!!!

Our class has been blessed with a new student!  Her name is Analucia and today was her first day with us.  If you see her around, please welcome her to our Sacred Heart Academy family!

Report Card and Parent Conference

Report cards were sent home today in the yellow envelope. Please review it with your student, celebrate achievement, and set a goal for this new trimester.
 
The next three days are minimum days because of parent conferences.  I will meet with most of you tomorrow, Tuesday.  Please make sure your student comes to the conference.  I look forward to meeting with all of you!
